About me
Ty Purcell is an Information Security Liaison and Network Penetration Tester for EOG Resources, Inc. He has over 25 years of IT operational and security experience having worked primarily in the finance field in roles including time as a third-party IT security auditor and consultant, and Information Security officer, wearing hats dealing with technical security, network architecture, log management, and vulnerability assessment. Ty was first amazed by radio signals at an early age when he and his father built a crystal radio from scratch using just some wire, a diode and a coil his father wound using what seemed like black magic. Currently Ty is a licensed Amateur Radio operator and is exploring the mysteries of HF radio wave propagation.
